LEVEL 1: In these classes we provide the foundations for practice. They are geared to meet the needs of beginners, helping them learn and practice the most important postures, as well as the different types of breathing and mental approaches needed to really get the most out of yoga. Through these classes you will gradually build up your strength, flexibility and concentration so that you can progress to the more advanced classes of level 1-2.
LEVEL 1-2: Classes with greater activity and dynamism than level 1. Appropriate both for beginners that have a certain grasp of the basic postures and more advanced students endowed with greater flexibility, strength and body control. Classes include an introduction to the Vinyasa element (harmonious flow between postures and greater synchronization with breathing) and are taught in a flexible way to suit the needs not only of those who have been practicing for a relatively short period but also for more advanced students.
LEVEL 2: Appropriate for when you are very familiar with basic postures and techniques and you feel that the level 1-2 classes are too easy and are failing to truly stretch your strength, flexibility, coordination and concentration.
NIVEL 3: Classes for advanced students.
You must have high levels of strength, flexibility, concentration and general physical fitness to attend these.
ASHTANGA YOGA is a dynamic, intense and powerful system based on, among other things, the synchronization of breathing with movement.
SADHANA: practice of silent meditation, chants (Kirtan) and self practice of postures in groups.
